All India Consumer Price Index, AICPIN-IW data from August 1968 to December 2015

All-India Average Consumer Price Index Numbers for Industrial Workers(AICPIN) data is being released by the Government of India since August 1968. The Consumer Price Index Numbers for Industrial Workers are utilized for regulation of wages & dearness allowance for Government Employees and Pensioners. The new series of Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI- IW) on (Base Year 2016 =100) has been effective from September, 2020. Earlier it was based on (BASE : 2001=100), (BASE 1982=100) (BASE : 1960=100).
