Revised Interest Rates for Small Saving Schemes w.e.f. 01.04.2024 up to 30.06.2024 i.e for the first quarter of 2024-25 has been declared by the Government of India. The Government of India offers various small savings schemes through Post Offices and banks to suit the needs of diverse groups of people. These Schemes are; Senior Citizen Savings Scheme(SCSS) for Senior Ctizen, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana(SSY) for Girl Child, Public Provident Fund(PPF), Kisan Vikas Patra(KVP) , National Savings Certificates(NSC), Time Deposits, Recurring Deposits etc. There Rate of Interests are revised quarterly.

Subject : Revision of Interest Rates for Small Savings Schemes – reg.
The rates of interest on various Small Savings Schemes for the first quarter of FY 2024-25 starting from 1st April, 2024 and ending on 30th June, 2024 shall remain unchanged from those notified for the fourth quarter (1st January, 2024 to 31st March, 2024) of FY 2023-24.
